Summer in Bardonecchia

Bike Park
The Bardonecchia Kona Bike Park, located in the area of the ski lifts of Bardonecchia, is a true paradise for bikers who can try their hand at a number of disciplines such as mountain biking, downhill, free ride and cross country. The whole area is covered by over 400 km of tracks with an altitude ranging from 1300 metres up to 3000 metres. There is also a Junior Park at Pian del sole at the departure of the chairlift.

Adventure Park
Bardonecchia Adventure Park is an aerial assault course with a series of cables, wooden platforms and ropes allowing the user to “walk” suspended high up in the trees in total safety. The Adventure Park is situated in Campo Smith in a wood of large trees at the bottom of Mount Colomion. The Park was designed to fit in with its natural environment without disturbing the local flora and fauna. Users will enjoy being suspended in the trees, far from the deafening noises of the city, immersed in the peace and quiet of nature.

Hiking and trekking
There are numerous opportunities for walking and trekking in the mountains of Bardonecchia thanks to our extensive chairlift system. Please find below the operational times of the chairlifts that will allow you to experience the most evocative panoramic views Bardonecchia has to offer.

The imposing Olympic mountains of Bardonecchia and the unspoilt nature make an ideal setting for climbing. There are several equipped climbing walls and a "via ferrata" (a mountain route which is equipped with fixed cables, stemples, ladders, and bridges). The Parete dei Militi is a very well-known climbing wall situated in the nearby Valle Stretta and it was used for the first world climbing championships in the 1980s. The wall has a number of random rocks to climb on.
